Glass furniture without safety markings
Also covers: glass table, glass cabinet, mirror unmarked
Why shops refuse it
Charities commonly require glass furniture to carry a recognised safety mark before they will resell it.
What to do instead
Look for the etched mark in a corner of the glass — many pieces do have one.
