Nightwear or fancy dress that fails fire-safety requirements
Also covers: nightdress, pyjamas, pajamas, dressing gown, bathrobe, fancy dress, costume
Why shops refuse it
Shops need suitable construction and the relevant fire-safety information on nightwear and costumes before they can confidently resell them.
What to do instead
Check every sewn-in label. Items that lack the required information can still go to textile recycling if clean and dry.
